Lindy Hop Schnupperkurs

Lindy Hop is the best-known swing dance and has its origins in African American communities in the 1920s through the 1940s. It’s usually danced in the open position and has a very joyful and lively feel. Like jazz and swing music, the dance thrives on improvisation, interaction, and togetherness.
In our introductory class, you’ll learn the basics of Lindy Hop—from the first basic steps and simple turns to your first short dance with a partner. We start from scratch, so you don’t need any prior experience.

You can participate with or without a dance partner. Dance partners are rotated regularly during the classes. If you don’t want to switch partners, you don’t have to.
