Are you in the mood for sin? Dancefluencers and infludancers ask in the co-production by bodytalk and Polski Teatr Tańca Poznań: Is it necessary?
Deadly sins and cardinal virtues - are they two sides of the same coin? Of one bitcoin? Dancefluencers and Infludancers have a lot of influence in our time, they are always present - 24/7, always and everywhere. They turn "AI" into "physical intelligence" and, as supposed sin(n)fluencers, dump all kinds of sin onto social media channels. How can you cope with the flow of madness? How to find the truth in it? Bodytalk set sail and try to escape the flood. They navigate in visually stunning dance theater style towards the big questions of the present, exploring sins and technologies. With 16 dancers and a live musician, 24/7 NEUE TODSÜNDEN is bodytalk's fourth co-production with the Polish Dance Theater/Polski Teatr Tańca (Poznań). With JEWROPE they won the Cologne Dance Theater Prize and with SOLIDARITOT, which was also shown at LOFFT, they were named "Performance of the Year" in the yearbook of the magazine tanz. We welcome bodytalk to LOFFT for the sixth time and look forward to 16 virtuoso dancers.
