Hot summer nights in Brooklyn - art student Adnan is in town to look after his uncle's apartment. He has nocturnal sexual encounters with a food courier and works in an art gallery where the playfully queer and explicit embroideries of the older artist Sal are exhibited. Adnan had a tender affair with Sal a year earlier - past and present intertwine, between hook-ups on the playground and the buzz of the city, between glittering urban canyons and a cabin in the middle of the forest, the film transports its audience from drifting through New York to the summer night's dreamy realms of the enchanted: There is as much meaning in sex as there is in art, there you can let yourself go and simply enjoy.
