4th family concert by the Würzburg Philharmonic Orchestra: The fairytale world of Mother Goose

What does a magical fairy garden, a fairytale castle or the fabulous waltz of Beauty and the Beast sound like? In the 4th family concert, we get to know the stories of Mother Goose - the famous collection of fairy tales from France, which includes stories such as Sleeping Beauty or The Little Thumbelina, but also lesser-known fairy tales such as The Empress of the Pagodas . The French composer Maurice Ravel has clothed these fairy tales in dazzling tonal colors in his orchestral suite Ma mère l'oye . With his music, we embark on a dreamy journey through the world of Impressionism.
