It is a program of extremes. The fourth symphony concert of the Frankfurt Opera and Museum Orchestra on December 14 and 15 combines the elegant music of Polish composer Grażyna Bacewicz with Sergei Prokofiev's monumental and technically extremely demanding 2nd Piano Concerto. The concert is rounded off with Tchaikovsky's emotional 5th Symphony, an absolute audience favorite.
