48 Hour Film Festival

Be part of our 48-hour film event - as a filmmaker or audience member!

Shoot, edit and show your movie in just one weekend!
Join our WhatsApp group and register with the QR code (see picture! or via the photo on the website: https://www.koesk-muenchen.de/48-h-film-festival-2026/) to receive further information and the announcement of the genres on May 8. All film enthusiasts are welcome - no matter what equipment!

SCHEDULE & PROGRAM

Friday, May 8, 2026 | 7 pm: The event begins!
Two short film genre categories will be announced in the 48 Hour Film Festival WhatsApp group. Participating teams (4-6 people) can start planning and shooting their short films. There will be no official event on site on this day.

Saturday, May 9, 2026: The films are made!
The film teams shoot their films together at their chosen locations and start editing: sound, music, titles and anything else that time allows. There will be no official event on site on this day.

Sunday, May 10, 2026 | from 7 pm: Film screening!
Admission for the film teams is at 6:30 pm - the films must be submitted in person by 7 pm at the latest.
Admission for the audience is 7 pm. The screening starts at 8 pm.
