25 Jahr Uncle Fred - Bonner Soul & Party-Band feiert Jubiläum mit Anny Ogrezeanu in der Harmonie Bonn

On Friday, September 4, 2026, the Bonn-based soul and party band Uncle Fred will celebrate its 25th anniversary with a special concert at Harmonie Bonn.

For a quarter of a century, Uncle Fred has been thrilling audiences with funk, soul, and disco classics. Since its founding in 2001, the band has performed on numerous stages throughout the Cologne-Bonn region. These include appearances at the Kölner Lichter, Rhein inFlammen, the Fête de la Musique in Cologne, and the SWB Summer Festival in Bonn.

The band’s core philosophy has remained the same to this day: live, organic music with plenty of groove, passion, and a direct connection to the audience.

Their repertoire ranges from classics by Stevie Wonder, James Brown, Prince, and Amy Winehouse to current songs by Bruno Mars, Harry Styles, and Jan Delay —supplemented by disco hits that have been filling dance floors for decades.

A highlight of the anniversary concert is the joint performance with Anny Ogrezeanu,“Winner of The Voice of Germany 2022.” Ogrezeanu and saxophonist Tom Schnepp met at a benefit concert for flood victims in the Ahr Valley. This musical encounter sparked the idea to celebrate the anniversary together on stage.

The band has a long history of concerts with Harmonie Bonn. They first took the stage there 20 years ago. This made it all the more natural to celebrate their band anniversary at this very venue. The evening will also be a musical journey through the band’s history. Many former band members and longtime musical companions will be joining them that evening.

Singer Andreas Wolter describes the special significance of the evening as follows:

“When former bandmates join us on stage again for the anniversary,

it brings us full circle. Many of us have been playing together for decades—and

it’s exactly this bond that we want to share with our audience this evening.

The fact that we’ll be performing alongside Anny Ogrezeanu on highlights from *The Voice of Germany* and

other songs makes this evening even more special.”
