Stonehenge is 5,000 years old - Metalhenge has been around for five years now.
On July 16, 2025 at 8:00 pm, Thomas Roth, the artist who came up with the idea for Metalhenge, and employees from the Olbers Planetarium will be present and provide explanations.

Metalhenge in Bremen is a publicly accessible art installation that was created in collaboration with Die Bremer Stadtreinigung, the artist Thomas Roth and Dieter Vornholz from the Olbers Planetarium. It is located on the first recultivated area of the Blockland landfill site and combines astronomy, recycling and landscaping to create a unique experience.
