Scrooge, the dogged old merchant, ruthlessly torments unhappy debtors, humiliates his underpaid secretary and treats his fellow man with contempt. Even the approaching Christmas is just superfluous for Scrooge. But then, on Christmas night, he is haunted by some ghosts....

A Christmas Carol has been performed and filmed in many variations. In this stage version, the classic is presented "present day", with unconventional ideas and live-baked Christmas cookies. A winter-warm, joyful theater evening, which warms the theater and also the audience at Christmas time, because above all "modernity" remains the timeless literary quality as well as the question of social responsibility and the true values of a society, which must be asked again and again.
