Two Dortmund pop choirs. A long-standing friendship. And a concert day that was long overdue. For more than ten years, Sounding People e.V. and Vocal Crew have enjoyed a genuine, living choral friendship - characterized by mutual appreciation, shared experiences in the Dortmund music scene and the deep respect of two ensembles that both redefine the boundaries of choral singing in their very own way.

Sounding People brings Christmas to the stage with groove, beatbox and deep warmth: fully miked, powerful, rhythmically strong - with their own bass sound and the unmistakable Sounding People sound, which combines soul and R'n'B with modern pop aesthetics.

Vocal Crew stands for delicate, warmly timbred a cappella harmonies - soft, moving, precise. Founded in 2006 under the direction of Dita Kosmakova, the female choir formation combines soulful singing with rousing up-tempo songs and brings its very own brand of Christmas pop music.
