In the organizer's words:
Aaron is the up-and-coming artist who is taking the German music scene by storm with his versatile music. His sound spans multiple genres, ranging from acoustic sounds to sensual guitar riffs and pop-inspired beats. With his debut single “wo bin ich,” he has already enjoyed great success and quickly made a name for himself as a solo artist. In addition to his solo performances at festivals like Hurricane, Southside, and Highfield, Aaron also performs as a drummer at Zartmann’s shows, where he regularly plays one of his own songs. His debut album “versprochen, ichbindafürdich” charted at No. 7 on the German charts and features collaborations with artists such as Zartmann and Bosse, highlighting his versatility and creative connections. Aaron blends melancholy and energy into a unique musical experience, moving audiences with his profound lyrics and unmistakable sound.

The “Fenster Zum Hof” Open Air • Mainz is a concert series held in the courtyard of the Landesmuseum Mainz, where the independent concert agency Musikmaschine primarily presents German bands and live acts from the genres of indie, pop, rock, electronic, folk, hip-hop, and singer-songwriter—all of whom have moved beyond newcomer status. These headliners are paired with the best up-and-coming artists from Rhineland-Palatinate. As a platform for young, sophisticated live music focused on innovative, high-quality musical entertainment, the FzH demonstrates anew every year: Here, music history isn’t repeated—it’s rewritten. The booked artists do not turn a blind eye; rather, they spread hope and optimism, especially in light of the unfortunately rather grim realities of the moment. And when the Musikmaschine transforms the courtyard into a festival grounds, one thing always holds true: dancing is always an option! Artists who have performed at the FzH include Mine, Kapelle Petra, Die Sterne, Peter Licht, Die höchste Eisenbahn, Wallis Bird, Jeremias, Mayberg, Enno Bunger, The Gardener & The Tree, Blackout Problems, Chefket, Dota, Kytes, and Jupiter Jones have performed at the FzH, and the concert agency’s goal remains to offer innovative and independent live music every summer at the most beautiful venue in Mainz, the city of media and academia. The FzH format launched in the wake of the first lockdown in 2020 as a streaming show at the “Altes Postlager” cultural venue in Mainz. It then continued as a spontaneously improvised open-air event in the courtyard of the Landesmuseum and has since established itself as an annual concert series. This year’s edition features twelve dates between July 24 and August 23, 2026.
