She is one of Lebanon's most important artists: Abeer Nehme. With her powerful voice, the singer from Tannourine El Tahta opens up the Great Hall for a musical journey through the cultures of the Middle East as part of the "Lebanon" festival. In various languages - from Arabic to Aramaic to Armenian - she tells stories of love, home and new beginnings. Supported by a 16-piece ensemble and choir, she moves effortlessly between Arabic classical music and Western modernity: classical songs alternate with modern arrangements, traditional melodies meet orchestral power, intimate moments meet rousing choreographies for the ears.
