After the death of Amália Rodrigues, the unforgotten "Queen of Fado", the whole country searched for a worthy successor - and found her in the young Mariza. With her extraordinary voice and captivating stage presence, she has won a huge fan base all over the world. Mariza is the heir to Amália Rodrigues, a cultural ambassador and artist who is constantly reinventing herself without denying her roots.
