In the organizer's words:
Originally 369 km long, the Garden Route from Port Elizabeth (now Gqeberha) to Mossel Bay is one of the world's most popular road trip routes and is considered one of the highlights of South Africa. Today, the route is often individually extended to Cape Town. Together we cover around 1,000 km along the South African coast. We climb the Cape of Good Hope on the Cape Peninsula, taste first-class wines in Stellenbosch, enjoy the maritime flair in Knysna and go stalking in private game reserves. As South Africa naturally also offers unknown beauties, we also want to focus on lesser-known regions.
