Final reading of the students of the seminar "Political Writing" with Theresa Seraphin and Denijen Pauljević from the Network of Munich Playwrights at LMU's Department of Theater Studies.
The seminar focused on political writing for the stage: How do playwrights react to social tensions? What forms can the political take in theater? Together, the participants explored topics, places and personal perspectives that serve as a starting point for scenic writing. This involved collective and autofictional approaches as well as dealing with historical material, experiences of discrimination and questions of language and power.
The resulting texts will be presented in short readings - raw, urgent, poetic.
