In 2024 we start the ADVENTSMARKT BY Maaß on the beautiful square at Arno in Oberneuland.

06.12. / from 15 to 17 o'clock
is the big NIKOLAUSAKTION, where the children can pick up their boots in the presence of Santa Claus. Children come to our market and pick up a handicraft template for your Santa boot. Design your template, write your name on it and put the boots together. Bring the boot back to us at the market by 28.11. and pick it up again on St. Nicholas Day on 6.12. with lots of little surprises!
Accompanied by the wonderful PETER MAIWALN, who will be playing children's music from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., but will also fulfill parents' pop song wishes. Peter Maiwald's SchlaKustik - the acoustic Schlager revue from the 50s to the 90s
It's these old hits that still get every party and every concert hall going. At the latest when "Marmor, Stein und Eisen bricht" is intoned, there is no holding back. One man, his voice, his guitar and a lot of passion!

From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., it gets chillier (in the old days they used to say cozier) on the square with WHITE COFFEE
A guitar, a ukulele and two voices in harmony. With their own songs and covers, WHITE COFFEE create a harmonious atmosphere of reggae, jazz and pop music. Jenny and Andy Grove play well-known pieces from jazz, pop music and bossa nova in their own atmospheric version. White Coffee want to bring people together, entertain them and invite them to dream.

In addition to a broad field of musical expression, it is above all vulnerability, a natural performance and open-hearted communication that make JOHNETHEN FUCHS appear approachable, empathetic and lively.
In terms of both content and composition, the British rocker is venturing into ever deeper territory. Whether amplified with a band or solo in singer/songwriter style, the UK-inspired FUCHS has an intuitive feel for weaving lyrics and melodies into little reveries. His voice is not typical of the genre: voluminous blues vocals, soft and delicate falsetto or snotty and raw rock voice - the surprisingly versatile vocals permeate the often autobiographical songs with devotion.

Deeply rooted in Celtic folk, but always open to new influences from blues, prog rock and pop, PATRICK SHURETY writes songs about empty streets full of memories, about self-doubt, optimism, exploitation and the little people. However, it rarely sounds angry or sad, but sometimes soft and warm like a blanket, sometimes rocky and playful with unexpected twists and turns. Christy Moore, Leonard Cohen and Paul Simon. Plus a pinch of Mark Knopfler, David Gilmour and a little dash of Jean Michel Jarre (or Klaus Schulze). This is left to simmer for a long time under the supervision of Yes and IQ and sent around the country for a few years. Cover songs from (almost) all genres are an excellent accompaniment. The CHRISTMAS TREE SALE by Sören and Rainer Prüser from Forsthof Prüser in Hellwege near Bremen. They have shared a passion for three generations: beautifully shaped Christmas trees. This means a lot of manual work, as a Christmas tree takes around 13 years to reach room height. Their daily motivation is for you to sit around one of these Christmas trees on Christmas Eve and celebrate Christmas with your family. The crops close to the farm in Hellwege make it possible to harvest at short notice without long transportation routes. This means that Forsthof Prüser can always offer fresh quality trees in all sizes.

Exhibitors (only on 10.12.)
Our distillery PIEKFEINE BRÄNDE is a craft distillery at the Europahafen in the Überseestadt in Bremen. Since 2011, we have been producing fruit brandies & spirits, liqueurs, gin, whisky and more in our glass manufactory by hand and with great attention to detail. If you would like to find out more, we cordially invite you to our guided tours, tastings and workshops. In our wooden barrel warehouse, nine vintages of single malt are now maturing in various oak barrels, which are processed and converted for us by a Bremen barrel maker. We attach great importance to regionality - because this is exactly how we bring a piece of home into the bottle with each of our Piekfeine spirits.
We source our fruit mainly from small fruit growers who uphold the cultivation of orchards and with whom we have a close and trusting relationship. As far as possible, we process raw materials from the region, for example the Finkenwerder Herbstprinz apple variety from the Altes Land region - we source rare wild fruits or more southern fruit from selected European suppliers.

PAINTING by Beate Stübner
Beate Stübner began painting as an autodidact in 1980. She took lessons in Hanover, Worpswede and Lübeck. This was followed by exhibitions in the towns where she lived, including Reinbek, Frauen-art in Großburgwedel, Friedrichskoog, Kulturfest Isernhagen, Hanover and Lübeck. Beate Stübner has lived in Bremen for three years and will be exhibiting a small selection of her paintings. Flowers and landscapes , with strong acrylic colors or oil , are set in scene. But she also offers small-format, appetizingly arranged still lifes at the Advent market by Maaß.

With handmade Christmas SWEETS to give away - but of course also to eat yourself. Burnt almond and chocolate crossies in different flavors such as caramel, white and milk chocolate.
