"Afrofrequencies" is an interdisciplinary performance by Oré Arts with 13 Black performers. It transforms bodies into living archives of memory, spirituality and resilience - and shows how healing, community and artistic renewal emerge from this legacy.

While epigenetics describes how experiences - especially traumas such as enslavement and racism - are inscribed in our genetics and passed down through generations, a central dimension remains unacknowledged: the spiritual power of Black communities. This is exactly where "Afrofrequencies" comes in. We understand the body not only as a storehouse of biological information, but also as a source of spiritual knowledge, resilience and creative energy.

With dance, music, ritual and somatic practice, a performance is created that combines art, science and spirituality. It opens up a space in which past, present and future merge into a collective vision.

This project is an act of cultural self-empowerment, a manifesto for healing and solidarity. "Afrofrequencies" makes visible what is often overlooked and creates an experience that is deeply moving and has a lasting impact.
