After-Work at Kunstareal: Welcome Internationals

The Lenbachhaus invites you to a guided tour of the exhibition “Beyond the World. The Blue Rider.”

Following a welcome address, there will be a guided tour of the renowned Blue Rider collection.
In the early years of the twentieth century, a circle of artists—both women and men—came together in Munich. They shared a vision and a determination to renew art and transform society.
Featuring over 240 works, the exhibition showcases highlights and new acquisitions from the world’s largest Blue Rider collection. It also explores the movement’s international network, pioneering achievements, and enduring relevance to artistic innovation, personal freedom, and cultural exchange.

After the tour, join us for a get-together in the museum garden with drinks from Aqua Monaco and freshly baked pretzels from Julius Brantner Brothandwerk.
On September 3, the Lenbachhaus will remain open until 10 p.m., giving you the opportunity to explore the museum’s other exhibitions as well.
Until 10 p.m., there will be drinks and music—all under the special light of Olafur Eliasson’s “Wirbelwerk”!
