In the organizer's words:
How is artificial intelligence changing the way we work with audio?
A nationwide congress on artificial intelligence in music production, film sound and creative media
11. to 12.9.2026 | Potsdam, Film University Babelsberg
Creative work processes are being transformed by AI, new production and collaboration formats are emerging - at the same time, legal and social issues are posing new challenges. The two-day congress "AI-Soundscapes" brings together experts, creatives, students and teachers from the music, film and creative media industries to reflect on and discuss the opportunities and risks of AI in audio, music production, film sound and creative media.
The congress is initiated and implemented by Zentrum Pop, a project of SPI A&Q gGmbH, in close cooperation with the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF. Further cooperation partners are the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg, ImPuls Brandenburg and Pro Musik.
Supported by Initiative Musik gemeinnützige Projektgesellschaft mbH with project funds from the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media and with funds from the State of Brandenburg.
AI Soundscapes sees itself as a platform for critical examination of AI in audio, music production, film sound and creative media - between human creativity and algorithmic intelligence.
