Akademie-Gespräch: Was ist Berlin die Kultur wert? Die Berliner Spitzenkandidat*innen im Zukunftsgespräch

Many areas of Berlin's cultural life are currently under increasing pressure. The cultural policy decisions of the coming legislative period will therefore help determine what role art and culture will play for this city in the future.

The discussion is intended as a public forum for a fundamental cultural policy debate. The leading candidates have been invited because cultural policy is not just a question of individual departments, but affects political responsibility for the city as a whole.

The focus will be on the future of Berlin's cultural landscape, prospects for the independent scene and institutions as well as fair working conditions for artists.
