In the organizer's words:
In the exhibition Residue, Daniel Gianfranceschi presents a newly composed piece for electric guitar, which is amplified in a three-channel installation and deals with themes such as local (listening), selective (listening) and volume as a physical consequence. Here, the behavior of the listener (m/f/d) oscillates between an active, exegetic procedure and an almost antagonistically present sound matter that rejects the "disinterested" Kantian judgment in favor of a perceptual confrontation. A CD publication of the same name will be available in conjunction with the exhibition.
