Aktionstag im Museum Ephraim-Palais

In the organizer's words:

Let’s head to “Sunday in the Nikolaiviertel”! Every first Sunday of the month, we offer a varied program. Free admission is available for everyone under 18 or eligible for a discount.

TheBerlinZEIT! exhibition on the first and second floors of the Ephraim-Palais Museum offers an entertaining journey of discovery through the centuries. At the same time, it provides a comprehensive overview of the sometimes revolutionary events that have taken place in this city. The exhibition engages all the senses: You can feel medieval fabrics, smell the year 1740, see the original padlock from the Brandenburg Gate, and listen to interviews with people who shaped Berlin during the period of reunification. Family tours of the exhibition offer fun for young and old alike.

The special exhibition“A Change of Scenery—Migration and Furniture Since 1960,” located on the third floor, explores living in a society of migration through aesthetic and social lenses. And that’s by no means all there is to experience here today!

Families are especially welcome—free admission is available for everyone under 18 or eligible for a discount. So there’s plenty of reason to look forward to great activities at the Ephraim-Palais Museum, the Nikolaikirche Museum, and the Knoblauchhaus Museum!

Our solidarity-based pricing model offers free admission to adults with proof of eligibility for a discount, including students, apprentices, participants in the FSJ, FÖJ, and BFD programs, people with severe disabilities, refugees, recipients of Bürgergeld or ALG I, and many others. Everyone else pays only the museum admission fee and can take advantage of our discounted combo ticket for all three museums. The extensive special event program is included in the price!
