ACOUSTIC TILES - A VIDEO INSTALLATION

2025 marks the 100th anniversary of the death of the French composer and pianist ERIK SATIE. An occasion for musician Frederike Möller and video artist Michalis Nicolaides to explore his unusual work at HETJENS and make it accessible to a broad public. The starting point is ERIK SATIE'S MUSIQUE D'AMEUBLEMENT - short pieces that are constantly repeated. They are recorded on video and sound with the individual musicians, so that separate video portraits are created which - distributed throughout the room - nevertheless sound together.
