Aldous Harding back in Germany for three shows this summer

The New Zealand artist Aldous Harding is coming back to Germany for three concerts this summer. In June she will play in Hamburg and Berlin, followed by a show in Munich at the beginning of July. The singer/songwriter last toured this country very successfully in 2023 - due to high demand, the tour was not only partially rescheduled, the indie folk singer also played to a sold-out audience. Her last and most recent studio album "Warm Chris" was released in spring 2022 and reached number one in the New Zealand album charts. After 2019's "Designer", John Parish was also allowed to produce this long-player, which is reminiscent of the Velvet Underground and the 70s. The album has been described musically as baroque pop, freak folk and psychedelic folk, with Aldous Harding himself aptly calling their music gothic folk. Pitchfork praised the work as their best songwriting to date. 2026 starts for Aldous Harding in mid-January as support for Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds through her native New Zealand and neighboring Australia. The daughter of a folk singer is also currently working on new music and it can be assumed that she will have the new material with her in June and July. A concert by the New Zealander is always a special experience, her performances are theatrical productions in which she takes her audience on a journey into her world of music. An opportunity not to be missed.
