HAVANA D'PRIMERA was founded by singer Alexander Abreu 20 years ago and is undoubtedly the hottest salsa orchestra in Cuba. As a top-class composer and arranger, Alexander is responsible for many of the top hits of recent years in Cuba. Not only his unmistakable voice characterizes the sound of the 16-piece band - Alexander is also the outstanding trumpeter of his generation. Havana D'Primera - a must for all salsa and Cuban music fans.
