Alix von Melle is currently one of the most successful German high-altitude mountaineers, having climbed seven eight-thousanders without the use of artificial oxygen.
She has shared her passion for high-altitude mountaineering with her husband Luis Stitzinger for 25 years. In spring 2023, he did not return from his 10th eight-thousander, the Kangchendzönga in Nepal.
In her multivision show, Alix takes her audience into the fascinating world of eight-thousanders, talks about the years spent together with Luis in the mountains of the world, shows pictures of his last expedition and tells them what happened there.
