The internationally renowned Allotria Jazz Band from Munich has been one of the most distinguished groups on the traditional jazz scene in Germany for many years. In the style of Dixieland and Swing, seven excellent soloists play compositions from the 20s and 30s at a high level under the trademark "The Fine Notes of Classic Jazz". In addition to the sophisticated musical characters of the musicians, the seven-man orchestra's own arrangements and the four-part brass section with two trumpets provide the unmistakable sound of a small big band.

19 LP and CD productions over the past four decades bear witness to the band's versatile history. With countless international appearances, including more than thirty tours to the USA and Canada, the Allotria Jazz Band is Germany's No. 1 export when it comes to "classic jazz".
