With their debut album "Hands / Trees", the Leipzig-based indie folk band Almost
Twins have already made big waves: several tours throughout Germany, numerous placements on
placements on DSP playlists, international radio plays and the nomination of a music video for the
music video for the German Pop Culture Award. Together with producer and bassist
bassist Alex Binder (Anna Erhard, Dota, Crucchi Gang, Anna Hauss), who already produced the band's first album, they have now recorded their follow-up production "Visions"
recorded (release January 2026).

In their search for sonic expansion, singer and guitarist Max Grüner, who
Almost Twins was originally conceived as a solo project, found in his four bandmates an
almost twin-like bond. Laurenz Welten (saxophone, clarinet), Valentin
Mühlberger (Wurlitzer, synth), Raphael Schuster (drums) and Arne Imig (electric bass)
interpret Max's songs in a way that gives his emotions the necessary expression without being pathetic.

Almost Twins could play a total of around 60 concerts throughout Germany by the end of 2025
including appearances at festivals such as Detect Classic, Alinae Lumre, Wipfelrauschen,
Zugvögel and Roots & Sprouts. Max Grüner has also performed solo as a support act together
with Dekker in Germany, the Netherlands, Austria and Switzerland. Their
debut album "Hands / Trees" was released on May 3, 2024 via Wagram Stories Berlin;
the second album "Visions" will be released on January 30, 2026.
