Fancy getting to know Neukölln from a whole new perspective? This self-guided tour takes you on a 5 km journey of discovery to the district's sustainable hotspots. Away from the typical tourist trails, you will explore special places in Rixdorf and Schillerkiez with your smartphone in hand.
Discover the vegan shop collective Dr. Pogo, the idyllic Comenius Garden and Café Botanico, where food is prepared according to the "garden to table" principle. On the site of the former Kindl brewery, you will get to know exciting projects that are committed to social and ecological urban development. The tour also takes you to Tempelhofer Feld and Prinzessinnengärten, an urban gardening collective.
You will learn all about alternative forms of business, gentrification and green oases in the middle of the city. Perfect for anyone who wants to delve deeper into the neighborhood and discover inspiring initiatives. You decide the pace and can linger in the many cafés and stores at any time.
