Following the SWR documentary “Old Fabrics – New Forest,” designer Sinah Schlemmer received countless fabric donations—all accompanied by personal, moving life stories. Together with fashion photographer Johanna Link, she traveled across Germany to capture these stories and the resulting upcycled couture in a unique book project.
