Comic Lesung: Buchpremiere von „Drifting“ mit Madita Schwenke

Book premiere of "Drifting" Comic artist Madita Schwenke presents her comic "Drifting", which has just been published by Reprodukt Verlag:

When Annie moves into a shared flat, she quickly realizes that one of her new flatmates has a strange habit that causes all kinds of conflicts. He avoids arguments by simply climbing out of the window and floating into the sky. When the situation comes to a head, Annie decides to get to the bottom of it - and confront her own past.

In her debut with Reprodukt, Madita Schwenke sheds light on the everyday art of evasion - the desire to avoid confrontation and responsibility. The Hamburg-based illustrator translates this theme into very unique and memorable images with a keen sense for detail.

The evening will include a comic reading and a discussion about the creation of the book with questions from the audience. The Strips & Stories bookshop will be looking after the book table and there will be an opportunity to have the comic signed. The event will be moderated by comic artist Lina Banane.
