Amber & the Moon balance between delicate acoustic arrangements and expansive soundscapes - always enveloped in a mysterious atmosphere. At the center is the warm, melancholy voice of singer and guitarist Ronja, who creates a world of sound between comfort and longing with haunting melodies and poetic lyrics. Amber & the Moon moves stylistically between Boygenius and Kings of Convenience while remaining unmistakably independent.

What once began as Ronja's solo project has grown over time into an organic band structure. Their creative process is characterized by retreat and reflection: initial sketches are often created in the silence of nature before they are worked out together in the studio.

The vocal harmonies of lead singers Ronja and Jonathan in particular lend the music a special intimacy and evoke comparisons with Damien Rice & Lisa Hannigan or Angus & Julia Stone. The band is complemented by the experienced Hamburg studio and session musicians Ben Schadow and Torben Sdunek.
