analogueNOW Festival 2026

In the organizer's words:
analogueNOW Festival 2026 brings Europe's analog photography community together in Berlin
May 8-10
Lectures, workshops, conferences, meet-ups and a market for analog photography around Fotogalerie Friedrichshain and Nirgendwo will turn Berlin into a meeting place for the scene for three days. Accompanying: the exhibition "Room for Doubt".
This spring, the analogue photography scene is turning its attention to Berlin:from 8 to 10 May 2026, the analogueNOW Festival will bring together photographers, collectives and photography enthusiasts from Berlin and all over Europe - for three days full of exchange, inspiration and the shared experience of analog photography. With artist talks, photography workshops and meet-ups, the festival creates space for dialog. Visitors can discover products and processes from various providers at the PhotoMarkt. The festival also offers a conference program in the middle of nowhere that highlights photography both as a craft and as a cultural practice. Experimental approaches will be presented, for example tri- and duo-tone cyanotypes with Sehera Nawaz, pin anima with Paweł Kulas or perspectives on queer photography with Rick Burger.

"ROOM FOR DOUBT" (May 9 - June 19, 2026)

A central part of the festival program is the exhibition "Room for Doubt" at Fotogalerie Friedrichshain. Works by up-and-coming photographers and photography students from Berlin collectives and educational institutions such as the Ostkreuzschule and the Lette Verein will be on display.

"Room for Doubt" celebrates the experimental spirit of analog photography - trial and error, open results and the creative potential of uncertainty - and invites the audience to question their own perception and to understand doubt as part of artistic practice.
