How to be sad
How does grieving even work? When the unimaginable happens - the death of his own four-year-old daughter - author, translator and podcaster Berni Mayer embarks on an odyssey of grief. He tells an autobiographical story about his family and shows which measures of grief worked for him - and which did not.
He tried everything: Sport, medication, dancing, psychotherapy, traveling, meditation - the list is endless. "How to Be Sad" illustrates that and how you can learn to deal constructively with loss. It offers a kind of blueprint for mourning and space for the inconsolable.
