About Anna

Anna Rosenwasser works as a newly elected National Councillor and author of the "Rosa Buch. Queer texts from the heart". She is a trained journalist and has been writing professionally since 2008. She worked for four years as managing director of the Swiss Lesbian Organization, where she fought for protection against discrimination and marriage for all, among other things. In her old home town of Schaffhausen, she co-founded a queer youth club and was also active on the board of the largest LGBTQ youth organization, Milchjugend. She has been campaigning for queer feminist causes in public for several years, including on Instagram with one of the largest political channels in Switzerland.

About Fabienne:

Fabienne Imlinger is an author, literary scholar and runs the podcast "Ich lese was, was du auch liest" together with Martina Kübler. For her novel project "Alles über meine Eltern", Fabienne Imlinger received the Literature Scholarship of the City of Munich 2021. She researched and taught at the LMU Munich in the field of gender and postcolonial studies.

The bisexual Swiss woman with Jewish roots writes about gender and attraction in surprising texts. She writes not only for those who have long known that they are queer, but also for all those for whom this word is new - and, who knows, perhaps moderately appealing. The Pink Book sheds light on identities outside the norm with a confident, loving gaze, is occasionally "angry" about injustice, but confronts everything with curiosity and humor. And time and again, the author also deals with her Jewish roots.

What is the best way to react to coming out? Is a person ever too young or too old for it? Do bisexuals really exist? And what should we really have learned about lesbian sex? Rosenwasser's texts do not come from a textbook, but from everyday life among people who dissolve taboos with relish and celebrate their own diversity. Behind this is political resistance to prevailing norms and a love of learning without fear of making mistakes.
