Discover ANOUK, the new and eagerly awaited children's musical for the whole family. Based on the popular children's books by Hendrikje Balsmeyer and Peter Maffay, an impressive production for children aged four and over is currently being created.

Anouk is a lovable and helpful girl. However, there is one thing she doesn't like at all: going to bed! Her parents are all the more surprised when Anouk suddenly goes to bed at night full of anticipation. What they don't know: Every night, a magical door opens to a world full of fantasy and adventure for Anouk. She experiences exciting adventures, accompanies pirates on treasure hunts, masters challenges in the jungle and meets colorful characters at the fair. In the process, Anouk makes new friends and helps other children in difficult and challenging situations. When she tells her parents about her night-time adventures the next day, they always say: "Honey, you only dreamed it!" But Anouk has "proof" that this is not the case. And her grandma seems to know more about it...

ANOUK - The children's musical takes young and old explorers into an imaginative world full of adventure where anything seems possible. With its characters and fascinating settings, the stage adaptation inspires the imagination and strengthens belief in the power of dreams. The playbook was written by Georg Veit and Hendrikje Balsmeyer, while Peter Maffay and his team are responsible for the musical design. At the heart of the musical will be ten rousing and sophisticated children's songs by Peter Maffay & friends, most of which have been composed especially for this production and contribute to the unique atmosphere. The audience will be whisked away into a world full of fantasy and adventure, where friendship, courage and tolerance take center stage. The stage adaptation remains true to the successful children's books and conveys their valuable messages. The stage design combines traditional and modern elements. The imaginative costumes allow the six actors to slip into over 20 different roles. A sophisticated lighting design highlights the action and creates an impressive atmosphere.

About the authors
Hendrikje Balsmeyer moved to Lake Starnberg in 2016 for love and took over the management of operations at Tabaluga Enterprises. As a secondary school teacher, she uses her pedagogical skills to develop new, creative concepts for children and young people with an ever-increasing number of cooperation partners. Her debut book "Anouk, die nachts auf Reisen geht" has taken the hearts of many children and parents as well as the bestseller lists by storm.

Peter Maffay was born in 1949 in Kronstadt/Romania. With over 50 million records sold, he is one of Germany's most successful musicians. Together with Gregor Rottschalk and Rolf Zuckowski, he created the character of the dragon Tabaluga in the 1980s. In numerous rock musicals, TV shows and most recently in a movie, Tabaluga has since conveyed values such as tolerance, social competence and non-violence. In 2000, the musician founded the Peter Maffay Foundation named after him for traumatized and disadvantaged children and young people. After publishing several non-fiction books, he is now also active in the children's book sector for the first time.
