Two friends fish together at the lake. Day after day, they wait feverishly for the line to twitch for the first time. When one of them has a wish after a strange catch, they both get caught up in an unstoppable maelstrom of ever greater desires - one wish chasing the next. In the process, their friendship almost comes under threat. With wind, video and high waves, UNITED PUPPETS tell the story of Ilse and Bill, exploring the inside of the turbulent wish spiral of "bigger, faster, more" in a fairy tale and rich in imagery.
