A tour through the eventful history of the oldest postal museum in the world
How long have museum buildings actually been around? This architectural tour takes visitors on a journey through the eventful history of the world's oldest postal museum: today's Museum für Kommunikation Berlin.
The building is a magnificent Wilhelminian structure - explicitly designed and built as a museum. The tour focuses on how the empire built itself a postal palace and thus carved its claim to power in stone.
