Whether at the regulars' table, in the family or at work - climate protection is often met with fake news, straw man arguments and right-wing populist slogans. But how can you react if you don't have the right facts or the right words?
This workshop makes it clear that it's not just what you say that counts, but how you say it. With attitude, clarity and presence, participants learn how to conduct political discussions with confidence and thus effectively defend democracy and climate protection.
At the same time, the workshop strengthens individual and social resilience: those who become more confident in their arguments can deal with headwinds more calmly, remain able to engage in dialogue and take action - even in polarized situations.
Objectives:
- Reflect on your own attitude towards climate scepticism and anti-democracy
- Understand the values, fears and motives of the opposing side
- Trying out new attitudes and reactions in a protected environment
- Getting to know argumentation techniques and discussion strategies
- Recognize populist argumentation patterns
