ART SHOW & OPEN STAGE: MAKE POETRY SEXY AGAIN

Spoken Word, Poetry, Rap, Storytelling, and more.

One of DNA’s most popular formats is back: “Make Poetry Sexy Again”—more than an art show, more than an open mic—this weekly format is the most honest and beautiful community experience—for both the artists and the audience.

We’re going to write, create, listen to each other, share, and showcase. Together. 

‍

Everyone who treats others with respect is welcome—all genres are allowed—spoken word, poetry, storytelling, a cappella, stand-up comedy, rap, singing...

While the focus is on words, artists can also use a keyboard, cajón, and/or guitar.

LINEUP:

6–7:30 p.m.: Doors

6:30–7:30 p.m.: Interactive Creative Writing

7:30–9:30 p.m.: Art Show, Special Acts, and Open Stage

9:30–11:00 pm: Open Bar & Afterparty
