A lecture by Quirin Müller and Pauline Leininger.
The music video "Wiener Melange" on the topic of "AI in Arts" was created as part of a cooperation seminar between HFF and LMU's Media Informatics department. Quirin and Pauline talk about experimenting with the rapidly developing AI technology, which was still in its infancy at the time, and report on how various AI tools were ultimately used throughout the production process. Finally, they share their views on the future role of AI in the creative process. Watch the video: Inspired by Little Princes, Wiener Melange tells the emotional story of a character in isolation in the form of a music video, about the longing for friends, closeness and the feeling of being loved. The finished video uses AI to create an experimental and unique look, including fully generated sequences.
Pauline and Quirin are studying for a Master's degree in "Human-Computer Interaction" at LMU Munich and also work together on interactive AI art. In addition to her studies, Pauline works at the Chair of AI at the HFF Munich and deals with image and video generation in film production. Parallel to university, Quirin writes and produces songs for his band "Quirinello" and works as a consultant for music production at Kreis Jugend Ring.
