Arthouse: 20 Tage in Mariupol

When the siege of Mariupol begins, many members of the press leave the Ukrainian port city. Only a small team from the Associated Press remains on site, documenting the atrocities of the Russian invasion at the risk of their lives. Filmmaker Mstyslav Chernov, his photographer Evgeniy Maloletka and producer Vasilisa Stepanenko are the only international reporters on site to capture crucial images of the war.

The moving documentary won an Academy Award ("Oscar") in the "Best Documentary" category in March 2024.
