Astrid Lindgren - „Die Menschheit hat den Verstand verloren“
In the organizer's words:
THE ARTISANS embark on a biographical journey in search of clues:
Using a puppet and props, they tell the story of the eventful life of the Swedish author, who not only wrote magnificent children’s literature but was also a keen observer of her time. During World War II, she kept diaries that vividly convey the state of the world then—and today. The evening sheds light on the life of a woman who remained politically active well into old age, fought for children’s and animal rights, and urges us to view the world with curiosity and courage.
Her message remains: We must rediscover reason in order to create a better world!
A new way for DIE ARTISANEN to present literature and its figures, for adults (ages 14 and up).
Supported by the Capital City Culture Fund.
