Auer Running Lunch

The solidarity garden cooperative Auergarden invites you to a special culinary event that will strengthen the community and attract new members at the same time. On 28.6.2025, the association is organizing a "Running Lunch" - a wandering multi-course menu in the three districts around the Munich distribution station: Maxvorstadt, Westschwabing and Neuhausen.

A running lunch is a social event in which a multi-course meal takes place at different locations. Participants form teams of two and each team prepares one course of the menu at home. The participants change locations for each course in order to eat with other people and make new contacts.

Team building 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️ You either register in pairs or are divided into 2-person teams, whereby one person should live in the area and have enough space for the four of you to eat together. You will stay together for the whole afternoon. At the end there is the option of going to the midsummer party together in the apple orchard of the Auergarden cooperative.

Cooking rounds 🍳 There are two courses - lunch and afternoon snack - and after the registration phase you will be sent your personal dinner itinerary with times and addresses and told which course you are cooking at your place and for which you are invited. At a set time, each team will visit a different cooking team for the next course.

At 17:30, everyone who wants to come to the Apfelgarten for the solstice celebration will gather at the Kreativquartier. We will then set off in carpools to Au in der Hallertau, where there will be a campfire and a self-brought buffet.
