What is it about?

A so-called delegation of young Israelis travels to Poland to visit the concentration camps built by the Germans. Among them are the somewhat shy Frisch, the artistically ambitious Nitzan and heartthrob Ido. They bring their own stories with them to the historical memorials. It is the end of their school years together and military service is imminent. And so, against the backdrop of the central Jewish catastrophe of the 20th century, a love triangle of love, friendship and politics unfolds. With impressive empathy and seriousness, this coming-of-age film delves into the feelings, thoughts, longings and fears of its young protagonists. We gain deep insights into their conflicts and their bonds. At the end of the journey, all three will be different people than they were before.

Who is it suitable for?

This coming-of-age film and the accompanying materials are suitable for schoolchildren aged 8 and over and 13 years of age, bringing them closer to the broad field of remembering and commemorating the Shoah. With humor, multi-perspectivity and many young film characters, the film shows a Jewish-Israeli youth group on a trip to a concentration camp memorial site in Poland - resulting in many cinematic and thematic impulses for the classroom.
