Hamburg, 17.11.2023. Denmark's most successful pop musician AURA DIONE will release a new album in 2024. Her "Mirrorball of Hope" tour, announced today, will take AURA DIONE to 10 German cities. Today, on 17.11.23 at 12 noon, the exclusive pre-sale starts via CTS Eventim. The general pre-sale starts on 20.11.23 at 12 noon.

Unlike other singers who put themselves entirely in the hands of their producers and allow themselves to be molded at their discretion, she has the necessary talent and unbridled energy to do everything herself.

In 2008, the petite and self-confident musician with an elegant fashion sense and a weakness for beautiful shoes landed her first number 1 hit in Germany: "I Will Love You Monday" reached platinum status, entered the top 10 in many European countries and the accompanying video has already been viewed more than 100 million times on social networks. The second single "Song For Sophie" stayed in the German charts for 22 weeks and her third single, "Something From Nothing", also made it into the charts.

Three years later, AURA DIONE once again thrilled the whole of Germany and reached number 1 in the charts for the second time with "Geronimo". The only other Danish woman to have two top hits in her neighboring country was the 60s pop star Gitte ("Ich will nen Cowboy als Mann"). However, that is the only thing the two singers have in common. AURA sees herself more as a successor to Dolly Parton. Her second single "Friends" reached the top six of the European singles charts and, as with her first album, the third single "In Love With The World" also made it into the charts.

On her third album "Can't Steal The Music", AURA DIONE presented an intoxicating kaleidoscope of styles and production techniques. "If a song is easy to play on the guitar, you know it's good," she explains. Aura adopted these and other principles from her role model Bob Dylan, for whom every song always had to be just that: a song.

"The journey from Heartbreak to Hope is now complete!" - with these words, AURA DIONE commented on the release of her EP "Fearless Lovers" (out in 2020), which includes the songs "Shania Twain" and "Last Man In The World". But her musical journey is far from complete - 2024 will be an exciting year for the thoroughbred musician.
