Who knows today what plants and other raw materials were once used to make textiles in Berlin?
For centuries, clothing was made of wool, linen or silk. In a small fashion show based on archaeological findings, we explain how these materials were produced and processed in the past.
We will take a look at the typical everyday clothing worn by Berliners in the Middle Ages as well as garments for special activities and occasions.
