Young art generates the future - so that the former can look to the latter without worry, their art must also be shown. This requires galleries and exhibition platforms where young artists can present themselves. After all, young people open up new living spaces through creative design processes! They are also venturing into adventurous territory where they can show something of themselves and exchange ideas with others. In order to give young art a forum with great public accessibility, the Franzmann youth culture café has been showing works by young Düsseldorf artists in various exhibitions since October 2022. In the youth facility at Ratinger Straße 20, young artists can experiment, vary (themselves) and try out different possibilities.
That's why we are once again inviting you to the small gallery of the Franzmann youth culture café on November 10 to present works and prints by the young artist Chaosgespür in a solo exhibition for the first time. Although she comes from Duisburg, she has already been featured in various group exhibitions in Düsseldorf. Chaos - is reflected in each of her works and runs like a common thread through her art: decay, growth and the inevitability of both play an important role in Chaosgespür's art. Described from the outside as expressive, emotionally touching and at times disturbing, sometimes gloomy themes are cloaked in bright colors.
Recurring motifs such as eyes, tentacles and hearts can also often be found and are applied to paper, canvas or even vinyl using acrylic paint. For the artist, drawing and painting is a way of regulating the volume of their own thoughts and at the same time offering them an outlet.
The exhibition can be seen until November 30 during regular opening hours (Monday to Wednesday from 3pm to 9pm; Thursday and Friday from 3pm to 10pm)
