Ausstellungseröffnung „Die Berge Tirols“ und Europäische Kulturtage 2026: Tirol

The mountains of Tyrol are at once a place of longing, a habitat, an economic region, and a canvas for imagination. The special exhibition “The Mountains of Tyrol” at the Museum of European Cultures explores these multifaceted relationships between people and mountains and serves as the starting point for this year’s European Culture Days: Tyrol.

The diverse program for the coming weeks ranges from concerts, readings, and film nights to culinary events, hikes, a climbing day, and a yodeling workshop. It offers numerous opportunities to engage in conversation and discover new perspectives on the Tyrolean mountain world.

To kick off the event, the Minerva Duo will give a brief preview of their musical program, which can be experienced in its entirety the following evening at the Austrian Cultural Forum. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available, including specialties made with Alpine herbs.
