"Authentic play for improvisers" - An intensive acting workshop

Workshop Objective:
In this workshop we explore authentic acting: How to move from point A (yourself) to point B (your role) without losing your authenticity.

What to expect:

• Character Development: we'll work on developing characters from the ground up, paying particular attention to voice and body.
• Connection: We work on staying in touch with our acting partner and responding to each other.
• Scene work: Participants are encouraged to play short scenes in which they bring their roles to life with authenticity and depth.
• Feedback and reflection: Participants will receive feedback and reflection opportunities to recognize how they can improve their acting.

Who is this workshop for?

This workshop is for improvisers of all experience levels who are interested in taking their acting to a deeper, more authentic level. No previous acting experience is required - just curiosity and a desire to be authentic.

Cost: 140€ + fees (total approx. 150€)
When: 18.05. 10-17 h (with one hour break)
19.05. 10-17 h (with one hour break)
Where: Karthäuserwall 18, 50678 Cologne (We will gather in the courtyard before the start)
Other: Bring comfortable clothes and a bottle of water
